Collective Bargaining Agreements
After obtaining certification as exclusive bargaining representative, the Union and a public employer must then bargain in good faith to negotiate a collective bargaining agreement (CBA), which will govern the terms and conditions of employment for the period of time stated therein. Below are links to access a variety of CBAs and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) entered into between New Mexico public employers and certified bargaining representatives.
Data collection by the PELRB reveals that more than 60,000 public employees are represented by an exclusive collective bargaining agent or Union under the PEBA.
Their bargaining units span approximately 90 State and local employers across approximately 120 workplaces or agencies. Many of their collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) can be accessed through this page or elsewhere.
